Defensive Handgun Clinic: Mount Vernon

Whether you’re new to handguns or looking to refine your skills, this class provides the tools and knowledge to stay prepared and empowered.
*Must hold valid NYS Pistol Permit or be a graduate of WFS and/or Aim Small’s 18-hour NYS Pistol Safety Class
This course will cover:
• Use of force legal review
• Presentation from the holster (the draw)
• Marksmanship / accuracy and proper trigger control
• Instinctive shooting
• Reloading drills
• Response to multiple threats
Students will need:
- 125 rounds of ammo
- Appropriate safety and range gear
- Holster that is made for your handgun (inside the waistband holsters are acceptable if they are molded and do not collapse).
- 2 spare handgun magazines (3 total). Spare magazine carriers that mount on your belt are preferred.
- Pants with belt loops and a sturdy belt
- Appropriate footwear for walking, running, and movement.
- NO FLIP-FLOPS, SANDALS, GYM SHORTS.
Ammo for the class is available at $15/box of 50 rounds.
